Indian Medical Association supports UCC, IMA praises decisions taken by CM in public interest
The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has supported the Uniform Civil Code (UCC). According to the IMA, it is fully with the state government in this move. The organization also praised the decisions taken by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in public interest.
IMA supports government’s decision of UCC
A delegation of IMA Uttarakhand met the Chief Minister. He supported the government’s decision of Uniform Civil Code. Also provided assistance of 25 lakhs for the CM Relief Fund. Also demanded exemption from Clinical Establishment Act to all hospitals having less than 50 beds.
During this IMA State Coordinator Dr. DD Chowdhary, Provincial President Dr. CS Joshi, Provincial General Secretary Dr. Ajay Khanna, Former President Dr. Arvind Sharma, Future President Dr. Sandhya Bhatnagar, District President Dr. Sanjay Upreti, Treasurer Dr. Jograj Singh , Haldwani President Dr. JS Bhandari, Dr. Dinesh Singh etc. were present.
