The state government has approved investment of Rs 18 thousand crore through single window system. With the implementation of this investment, approximately 26 thousand people will get employment. So far, agreement has been made on investment proposals worth about Rs 2 lakh crore for the Global Investors Conference. The process of bringing them to ground is underway. The state government has implemented a single window system for granting permission to various departments for industrial investment proposals in the state. In the financial year 2023-24, investment proposals worth about Rs 18 thousand crores were approved till the month of November. In which maximum investment proposals are from Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar districts. Apart from this, investment in hilly areas was approved.
MoUs have been signed on investment proposals worth Rs 2 lakh crore in the road show for the Global Investors Conference to be held on 8th and 9th December in Dehradun. Whereas the government has set an investment target of Rs 2.50 lakh crore for the conference. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami instructed the officials that the investment proposals on which MoU has been signed. Work should be done expeditiously to implement the priority proposals.
