Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that it is a matter of honor for all to get recognition at the national level for Apni Sarkar e-portal. The suggestions received from the citizens and officers through this portal are helping in easing the administrative process.
Secretary Information Technology Shailesh Bagoli and Director Information Technology Development Agency Neetika Khandelwal met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday. During this, he presented the silver medal and trophy to the Chief Minister, awarded as e-Governance Award to Apni Sarkar Portal at the E-Governance Conference held in Madhya Pradesh, Indore. In this award, ITDA has received a trophy and a check of five lakh rupees.
575 citizen centric services being provided
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that this portal was created to provide public central services to the common citizens of the hilly areas. Presently 575 citizen centric services are being provided through it. These include timely service delivery, application status monitoring, certificate facilities integrated with DigiLocker, individual citizen dashboard facilities, etc.
He said that it is because of these features that the portal has been recognized at the national level as an emerging technology in citizen centric services. This award will prove to be helpful in giving impetus to the initiatives being taken in the field of e-governance. Additional Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, Additional Secretary Ashish Srivastava, Additional Director Girish Gunwant and Joint Director Ram Swaroop Uniyal were present on the occasion.
