
The Lord Mayor of the British Parliament has praised the working style of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who recently visited Britain with the aim of garnering investment in the state in view of the Global Investors Conference, and the policy decisions taken by him. Apart from him, Birmingham University Vice Chancellor Billy Morya is also among the fans of Chief Minister Dhami. Lord Mayor and Vice Chancellor of the University of Birmingham Morya appreciated the meetings and policy discussions with Chief Minister Dhami and said that it was his privilege to host the delegation from India led by Dhami.
He said that Uttarakhand has immense potential in the fields of education, energy and tourism. He wished the Chief Minister all the best for the Global Investors Conference to be held in December. It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Dhami was on Britain tour from 26 to 28 September.
During this period, apart from a road show in Birmingham, he was successful in getting MoUs signed on investment proposals worth more than Rs 12 thousand crore in the state by meeting more than 350 representatives of various companies.
