Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a meeting with police and home department officials regarding love jihad and law and order. He said that Uttarakhand will not be allowed to become a soft target in the name of love jihad and religious conversion. The government is strictly working on this.
Said that now those coming from outside will have to go through strict scrutiny. Along with this, a massive police verification drive is also being run. The police have been asked to investigate the entire history of those coming from outside and living here.
Earlier in the state, some people were moving forward in a well-planned manner under a well-planned conspiracy. Ever since the strict law on religious conversion has been implemented in the state, people have also become aware since then. Its effect is also being seen. Now, no relaxation will be given in such cases which will come up.
