
There is anger in Tehri’s Nainbagh due to the dispute that has arisen in Purola of Uttarkashi. The reason is that such cases have come to light in Nainbagh also in the past. In view of this, Vyapar Mandal and Hindu Yuva Vahini have given an ultimatum to Muslim traders to vacate their shops in 15 days.
A memorandum was also given to the District Magistrate in this regard. In this regard, the Vyapar Mandal and Hindu Yuva Vahini have organized a meeting on June 12. On June 3, along with keeping the market closed, the traders also protested on this issue.

In the year 2021, a Muslim youth working in a computer coaching center in Nainbagh trapped a local girl in a love trap. Four Muslim businessmen had left the shop when there was anger about this, but they returned again when the matter calmed down.
Earlier, the young man running the hair salon had trapped the local girl in a love trap. There was a lot of friction between both the sides in this matter. Board of Trade President Dinesh Tomar told that a meeting has been called on June 12 regarding this. He said that a strategy will be chalked out if the shops are not empty at the stipulated time.
10 Muslim traders went from Purola with their goods:
At the same time, 10 Muslim traders from Purola have packed their goods after being given an ultimatum by Hindu organizations to vacate their shops before June 15. Of these, nine traders voluntarily, while one vacated the shop at the behest of the landlord.
The district president of the BJP Minority Morcha is also included in those who vacated the shop. Two other traders are also preparing to vacate the shop. Meanwhile, a meeting was held in the presence of the police-administration to open shops of Muslim traders in the town, but no consensus could be reached on this. There is tension in many places in the district regarding this incident.
In Nainbagh also, Muslim traders have been warned to vacate their shops within 15 days. In Bhatwadi, the traders kept the market closed till 12 noon and after taking out a procession, demonstrated in the tehsil. In view of these developments, the sequence of meetings with all the parties is going on to maintain the peace system of the police-administration.
Two youths had tried to drive away the minor girl student:
On May 26, two youths tried to abduct a minor girl student in Purola. One of the accused is a Muslim and the other a Hindu. Both were arrested by the police on the same day. Since then, local residents, traders and members of Hindu organizations have opened a front against the Muslim traders. Muslim traders have been given an ultimatum to vacate their shops by June 15 by pasting posters on their shops along with picketing, closure of markets and taking out processions.
Amidst this development, more than 30 shops of Muslim traders have been closed since May 26. On the other hand, on May 28, seven traders doing crockery business left Purola after collecting their goods. Four of them are Phad traders. On Wednesday night, District President of BJP Minority Morcha, Zahid also vacated the clothes shop and went to his home in Dehradun.
He was doing cloth business in Purola since 19 years. The poster was also pasted at his shop. Juveer and Salim have also vacated the shop and left Purola. Chand Taylor and Chand Mobile’s owner are also preparing to vacate the shop at the behest of the landlord.
One trader left the shop in Badkot, notice to another:
After the Purola incident, a landlord in Badkot has given a notice to a Muslim businessman to vacate his shop. Muslim businessman’s quilt mattress shop. Apart from this, on Thursday, a Muslim businessman running a barber shop in Badkot packed his goods and left for Dehradun. Last week in Barkot too, there was a lot of indignation among local traders and workers of Hindu organizations against Muslim traders. Here the procession also broke the boards on the shops of Muslim traders and also put the sign of the cross on the shutters of the shops.
