Uttarakhand Congress has started its preparations for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Today on Thursday, top Congress leaders from Uttarakhand met the party’s national president Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi to review the party’s preparations for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. This meeting took place at the party office in Delhi.
Veteran leaders of Uttarakhand Congress were also involved in this meeting. A meeting was also held during this. Uttarakhand Congress leaders who attended the meeting included former chief minister Harish Rawat, PCC president Karan Mehra and state AICC in-charge Devendra Yadav.
Kharge and Rahul Gandhi held a meeting with leaders
In the meeting, ACC General Secretary Organization K.K. Venugopal and all ACC secretaries were also present. Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi held a meeting with the leaders of Uttarakhand. He discussed the situation in the state with the Congress leaders of Uttarakhand and gave instructions to help the flood victims.

Help the disaster affected:
In this meeting, the party’s national president Mallikarjun Kharge said that the Congress is committed to the eco-friendly development of the Himalayan states. Keeping the environment in mind, the Congress was working earlier also and will continue to do so in the future. Mallikarjun Kharge further said that Congress should come forward to help the disaster affected people. He said that Congress workers should come forward to help the flood victims.

‘Congress will continue to raise the voice of the people of the state’:
During the meeting, Mallikarjun Kharge said that the party has taken a pledge to work for the flood victims and will fulfill it. Along with this, he said that the Congress will continue to raise the voice of the people of the state. Let us inform that these days the situation is bad in Uttarakhand due to heavy rains. Roads are cracking and at the same time the rivers are in spate.
