On this occasion, the Sainik Welfare Minister said that the nation will always remember the supreme sacrifice made by Anusuya Prasad, decorated with Mahavir Chakra, martyr in the 1971 India-Pakistan war, for the defense of the country. During this, Minister Joshi distributed trophy and dummy check of Rs 15,000 to the winning team of the seventh badminton competition organized in the memory of the martyr and also congratulated and congratulated all the participants. On this occasion, Shahid’s heroine and Shahid’s mother presented the book of Bhagwat Geeta to Minister Joshi.
On the other hand, the Sainik Welfare Minister said that our government is fully concerned about the martyrs, he said that after the Kargil war, the dead body of the martyr is brought to his ancestral home with respect.
Minister Joshi said that after the year 2018, the state government is working to provide government jobs to the families of the martyrs according to their qualification in the state government. Minister Joshi said that with the help of Hans Foundation, we have got the memorial gate of Veer Shaheed also constructed. He said that today a grand military base is being constructed in Dehradun in honor of the soldiers, whose construction work is in progress.
Sainik Welfare Minister Joshi said that as per the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a military base should be built in Uttarakhand and as a soldier, it is my dream project and determination that the military base of Uttarakhand should be developed like the Char Dhams here. Minister Joshi said that the military base is being given a grand look. He said that the design of the military shrine has been finalized by the government after studying various monuments of the country. The minister said that it is our resolve that by the end of 2023, we will complete the construction of the military base.
