Captain Gamal Singh Rawat, chairman of the Ex-Servicemen Welfare Committee and (retd) through a letter to the Minister of Military Welfare Ganesh Joshi, requested to open the Entrance Examination Center, Dehradun, Uttarakhand for taking education in the National Military School.
It may be noted that for admission in 6th and 9th class in Rashtriya Military School Chail, Dholpur, Bangalore, Ajmer and Velgaon, women from ex-servicemen families, war widows and other military families of the state are not able to send their children to other states for the selected examination. Huh.
Due to which the children of Uttarakhand are being deprived of higher education. In this regard, the Minister for Soldier Welfare Ganesh Joshi wrote a letter to the Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, requesting to open the entrance examination center, Dehradun, for taking education in the National Military School in view of the facts mentioned in the military-dominated region and the adverse conditions of military families.
