Forest Minister Subodh Uniyal and Cabinet Minister and Regional MLA Dr Premchand Agrawal took a pledge to protect the environment by planting trees on the occasion of Harela festival. On this occasion, a tree was also planted on the birthday of Piyush Agarwal, son of Minister Dr. Agarwal. Along with this, every citizen was called upon to plant saplings on his birthday.
On Sunday, a plantation program was organized at Smriti Van located on the bypass road. Forest Minister Subodh Uniyal said that Harela is a festival of happiness, prosperity and prosperity. Harela festival is a festival of environmental protection. Harela, a symbol of greenery, is also mentioned in the Rigveda. Told that by celebrating this festival, the feeling of social welfare develops. The way today’s youth is forgetting the old festivals, in the meantime the fame of Harela festival is also working to connect today’s younger generation with their roots.

Forest Minister Uniyal said that it has been written in the scriptures that planting a tree gives a virtue equal to a sacrifice. It is said that by planting a Peepal tree, a person attains virtue equal to hundreds of sacrifices. Not only this, planting a tree in Indian culture is considered like donating a hundred cows. Forest Minister Uniyal said that if such festivals are celebrated from time to time, then the youth will also be inclined towards their culture and the younger generation will also understand its importance in future.

Cabinet Minister and Regional MLA Dr. Premchand Agrawal said that plantation is an integral part of our life, we should plant as many trees as possible in our life. He said that the lack of trees and plants is continuously deteriorating the environmental balance. Plantation is very important to maintain the balance of the environment. It is the duty of all of us to contribute in maintaining the beauty of the earth. He appealed to the youth to plant more and more saplings.

Minister Dr. Agrawal said that nature is the basic basis of life of all living beings. Conservation and promotion of nature is very essential for all living beings. The environment depends on nature itself. If the nature is unbalanced then the environment will also be unbalanced. Said that it is very important to have trees to avoid natural calamities and to make the environment pure. Trees are the basis of nature. Conservation and promotion of nature cannot be imagined without trees.

On this occasion, Piyush Aggarwal said that if nature is called another form of God, then it will never be wrong. Nature depends on trees. Planting trees is the protection and promotion of nature and the protection and promotion of nature is the best worship of God. Planting a tree saves the lives of innumerable creatures and its immense virtue is easily achieved. In a way, planting a tree gives immense virtue.
On this occasion, fruitful and shady plants including mango, peepal, basil, litchi, belpatra, lemon were planted on the occasion of Harela festival and the birthday of the son of Minister Dr. Agarwal. Along with this, every person was called upon to plant saplings on his birthday.
