Players participating in the training camp of the 38th National Games will get an allowance of Rs 850 per day for accommodation instead of Rs 150. Similarly, the allowance for food for the whole day has been increased from Rs 250 to Rs 480. Apart from this, the honorarium of the trainer, high performance director, head trainer, assistant trainer, strength and conditioning expert has also been revised. Sports Minister Rekha Arya said, training camps are being organized for the players, but there was a shortage of allowances related to players, trainers and other arrangements. In view of this, the government has revised the expenditure of players, coach and assistant trainer, equipment in the sports ground, travel allowance of players etc. Told, provision has also been made for the expenditure of deploying supporting staff in the revised government order. Rs 60 thousand per month allowance will be given to physio, Rs 60 thousand per month for psychiatrist. Apart from this, nutritionists will be appointed, their honorarium will also be 60 thousand rupees per month. Masseurs will also be appointed at 40 thousand rupees per month.
Allowances for players before and now
– Under the residential arrangement, the amount has been increased from 150 to 800 rupees per player and trainer.
– Food allowance was earlier 250 rupees. Which has been increased to 480 rupees.
– For sports kit, track suit, sports kit, shoes, socks and camp, it has been kept at five thousand rupees as before.
– Sports material for equipment has been increased from 25 thousand to three lakh rupees.
– Miscellaneous expenses like (writing material, refreshment ground marking material, maintenance of ground) have been increased from 25 thousand rupees to 40 thousand rupees.
– Travel allowance has been increased from 1500 to two thousand rupees.
– Honorarium of head coach has been increased from 75 thousand to 1.25 lakh rupees per month.
– The honorarium of the assistant coach has been increased from 40 thousand to 80 thousand rupees.
Changes have been made in the allowances so that the players of the state can perform well in the national games and they do not face any financial challenge. From the coach to the assistant staff, everything will be available for the players.
