Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami praised the decision of the central government regarding GST. He said that from farmers to enterprises, from households to business, this GST of the new generation will bring happiness to everyone. In his post on the internet media, he said that with the commitment of the central government under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a new system of GST reforms is being implemented in the country. By making this structure more simple, only two slabs of 5 percent and 18 percent will be applicable. This historic decision will not only provide direct relief to the citizens but will also give new power to medium and small industries and small traders. He said that this decision will provide relief to agriculture, health, education, automobile, electronics and other sectors. This reform will prove to be especially beneficial in a tourism-dominated state like Uttarakhand. Reduction in tax burden will boost investment, and new employment opportunities will open up for the youth.
