On the lines of Chardham, travelers will have to register at the major temples of Uttarakhand, the system will be implemented soon

admin July 14, 2025

The state government is now preparing to ensure registration of travelers coming to all major religious places on the lines of Chardham Yatra. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami says that for this, work will be done on a long-term plan by communicating with all the stakeholders. Talking to the media on Saturday, Chief Minister Dhami said that the pilgrimage is increasing every year. The devotees coming to the state who want to visit Chardham and other religious places will not be disappointed. For this, efforts are being made to increase their carrying capacity by developing tourism and other religious places around the religious places. So far, more than 38 lakh devotees have visited the first phase of Chardham Yatra. Also, whether it is Jagannath Temple of Uttarkashi, Kartik Swami of Rudraprayag, Triyuginarayan Temple, Omkareshwar Temple, Joshimath, Adi Kailash Yatra, Maa Purnagiri Temple or Jageshwar Dham, the number of devotees has increased at all places. In the coming time, there is a need to conduct the pilgrimage smoothly at all these religious places.

Action against Bangladeshis and Rohingyas is also a part of this operation
The Chief Minister said that activities are conducted throughout the year at many religious places in the state. At these places, many people cheat the devotees by changing their names and disguises. This causes loss to Sanatan and hurts faith and devotion.

Operation Kalanemi has been launched against such persons. He said that this action will continue continuously. A large number of disguised people have been caught. Taking action against Bangladeshis and Rohingyas will also be a part of this operation.

Appeal to Shiva devotees and devotees, follow law and order and rules
Chief Minister Dhami said that this is the holy month of Sawan. Kanwar Yatra has started. The government has tried to make this journey simple and accessible. Operation Kalanemi is being launched to take action against disguised people. An appeal is made to all Shiv bhakts and devotees to follow the law and order and rules. Keep in mind that your journey should not cause trouble to anyone else. He said that if someone breaks the law and order, the law will also do its job. Law and order should not deteriorate at any cost.
