Strict action will now be taken against impersonators who cheat people in the guise of Sanatan Dharma in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. The Chief Minister has instructed the officials to start Operation Kalanemi. Many such cases have come to light in the state where anti-social elements are cheating people especially women by disguising themselves as saints. This is not only hurting religious sentiments, but also hurting the image of Sanatan tradition. The Chief Minister said that just as the demon Kalanemi misled people by assuming the guise of a saint, similarly many Kalanemis are active in the society today. The government is committed to protecting Sanatan culture and maintaining social harmony. Those who spread hypocrisy in the name of faith will not be spared under any circumstances and strict legal action will be taken against them.
