Devbhoomi Uttarakhand is very important from religious and spiritual point of view. This is the reason why the government is laying special emphasis on pilgrimage and tourism in this central Himalayan state and facilities are also being developed in this sequence.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has now also given the mandate to develop Uttarakhand as a wedding destination. Although people are taking interest in organizing marriage ceremonies at religious, spiritual and natural places in the state, now with the advice of the Prime Minister, these efforts will not only gain momentum but will also improve the local economy.
The aim is to make Triyuginarayan temple a wedding destination.
The religious beliefs of Uttarakhand are famous not only for seeing God but also for taking seven rounds. This is the place where Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati took seven rounds. Triyuginarayan Temple in Uttarakhand already exists as the marriage venue of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati. The attraction of taking seven rounds of this picturesque and religiously and spiritually important place is increasing every year.
These places have to be made perfect for marriage
Similarly, in the religious city of Haridwar, a large number of couples tie the knot in Shantikunj with rituals, while the pilgrimage city of Rishikesh has also emerged as a big wedding destination for the people of the country and abroad. Similarly, the trend of marriage with people coming from India and abroad has increased in all the well-equipped places including Mussoorie, Nainital, Ramnagar.
There are also places like Auli for marriage in the lap of pure nature. The way the government is developing facilities for tourism and pilgrimage, the attraction of getting married here is also increasing.
PM Modi gave the slogan of Wed in India
At the Global Investors Conference, the Prime Minister called for Make in India on the lines of Make in India. Also appealed to the rich, affluent people and youth to organize at least one marriage ceremony in Uttarakhand in the next five years. He also said that even if five thousand marriages take place in Uttarakhand in a year, a new infrastructure will be created and will turn the state into a wedding destination for the world.
State government will run a campaign
Obviously, after this call of the Prime Minister, the state government will now move forward in this direction as a campaign and in the coming days, a large number of people not only from the country but also from abroad will come and get married at picturesque places.
