Possibility of rain and snowfall in some places, how will the weather be in the mountains for the next 6 days?

The weather in the state can change once again from Tuesday. From 18 to 23 February, there is a possibility of rain in some hilly districts and snowfall on high peaks including Chardham. Meanwhile, there is a possibility of partly cloudy weather in the plains and rain in some places, due to which the maximum temperature can fall by one to four degrees Celsius. On Monday, the weather in the state was dry and sunny. During this, the maximum temperature of Doon was 27.3 degrees Celsius, five degrees Celsius above normal, and the minimum temperature was 9.6 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature of Pantnagar was recorded at 26.5 degrees Celsius, two degrees Celsius above normal, and the minimum temperature was 6.6 degrees Celsius, one degree Celsius below normal.

Snowfall is possible on 22nd and 23rd February

Director of Meteorological Centre Bikram Singh said that on Monday and Tuesday, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Uttarkashi and Pithoragarh may receive rainfall at some places and snowfall may occur on the peaks of higher altitudes. On 20-21 February, it is expected that there may be rainfall at some places in the hilly and plain districts along with snowfall on the peaks. There may be relatively more rainfall on these two days. Then on 22nd and 23rd February, there may be snowfall on the peaks along with rainfall in Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Uttarkashi, Tehri and Pithoragarh.

Fashion trend is changing with the weather in Doon

With the increase in temperature in the afternoon, the fashion trend is also changing. Keeping in view the mood of the weather, preparations are underway to decorate the shops with new clothes. Light clothes in different colours for children, youth and women have arrived in the market. Simple and party wear garments are ready in different designs.

People are going to the market and asking shopkeepers for new trends. Cotton and rayon clothes have become a special favourite among them. Shopkeepers have also ordered stock of clothes in view of the changing weather. For the past few days, there is mild cold in the morning and evening but it is getting hot in the afternoon. Even jackets and sweaters have to be taken off. Keeping in view such weather, the markets have also started getting decorated with clothes.
