The state government is now moving fast towards digital Uttarakhand. Under this, all government works and schemes are being online. The objective is to directly benefit the common people to rural areas. In this episode, the government is now preparing to activate the registered CHC in the state. For this, the honorarium given per registration to the registered CHC has also been increased. 24913 CHCs are currently registered in the state. In relation to this, only 11965 are running active at this time. At present, many public welfare schemes of the state government are running online. The subsidy available in these is also being given online. The same citizen code has also been implemented in the state.
In this, all the process of marriage registration, marriage breakdown, succession is being done online. All this work is to be done through CHC in Sudarvarti areas of the state. In such a situation, the importance of CHC is continuously increasing. About 25 thousand CHCs are registered to say in the state, but half of them are not functional at this time. One of the main reasons for this is the lack of communication services in the mountainous regions, as well as the amount of CHC to the government is very low. In view of this, the government has decided to give one of the fixed fees to CHC, especially for the registration of the Uniform Civil Code. Also, preparations are also underway to provide other facilities to them.
Secretary Information Technology Nitesh Kumar Jha says that efforts will be made that more and more active CHCs are registered. This will make it easier for the public to take advantage of all government schemes.
