The President is reaching Dehradun on the evening of November 7, due to which the security cordon has been tightened from Jolly Grant Airport to Dehradun.
After this, the President will visit Badrinath Dham on the morning of November 8 and will attend a program in Srinagar in the afternoon. Due to which strict security arrangements have been made in Badrinath and Srinagar also. On the State Foundation Day on November 9, the President will take part in the military parade to be held at the Reserve Police Lines. Police officers and employees have been put on duty from Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag and Pauri districts regarding the President’s visit.

On Monday, Additional Director General of Police AP Anshuman gave a briefing to police officers and employees regarding the President’s arrival in Dehradun. He instructed all police officers and employees to remain alert in view of security. During this, ADG AP Anshuman, DIG Training Varindrajit Singh, DIG Information Dalip Singh Kunwar and SSP Dehradun Ajay Singh directed the police force to reach their duty place three hours before the scheduled time during VVIP duty.

According to the instructions, if you find any suspicious item, immediately inform the higher authority. Keep an eye on the people meeting VVIPs also from security point of view. Only previously nominated persons should be allowed to enter after anti-sabotage checking. During the briefing, Dhirendra Gunjyal Superintendent of Police Vigilance, Shweta Chaubey Senior Superintendent of Police Pauri Garhwal, Arpan Yaduvanshi Superintendent of Police Uttarkashi and other officers were present.
