Prime Minister may come to Uttarakhand not on 26-27 February but in March, due to this the date has been changed

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s proposed visit to Uttarkashi district on winter visit on 26 or 27 February has been postponed. This decision has been taken in view of the Meteorological Department’s forecast of rain and heavy snowfall on these dates. Prime Minister Modi can now visit Gangotri Dham’s winter seat Mukhaba and tourist place Harshil on March 6 next month. This time the journey to the winter seat sites of Chardham has been started in Uttarakhand. So far more than 36 thousand people have visited the winter seat sites of Chardham, Ukhimath, Jyotirmath-Pandukeshwar, Mukhaba and Kharsali.

In this episode, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit any winter seat or tourist place of Chardham in view of promoting winter travel. The Prime Minister had accepted his request. The Prime Minister was scheduled to visit the border village of Bagori on 26 or 27 February after offering prayers at Mukhwa, the winter seat of Gangotri Dham, as well as address a public meeting in Harshil. In view of this, preparations were being finalized at these places at the level of the government and administration. Chief Minister Dhami also took stock of the preparations on Monday.

Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department issued a forecast that on the dates on which the Prime Minister’s visit is proposed, there may be rain and heavy snowfall in the area. According to Garhwal Divisional Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey, in view of the weather forecast of the Meteorological Department, the Prime Minister’s visit to Uttarkashi district on 26 or 27 February has been postponed for the time being. The new date of the Prime Minister’s visit will be decided soon.

The Chief Minister reached Mukhwa and Harshil to take stock of the preparations for the proposed visit of the Prime Minister

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the whole of Uttarakhand, including Mukhwa and Harshil, is ready to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Said that the arrival of the Prime Minister is very auspicious for Uttarakhand. This time too, his proposed visit will contribute greatly to the prosperity of the state. This will promote the winter Chardham Yatra worldwide and the number of pilgrims will increase in the coming times. The Chief Minister reached Mukhwa and Harshil on Monday and took stock of the preparations being made for the proposed visit of the Prime Minister.
