Relief news for outsourced and contract workers of Uttarakhand. The ban on the recruitment of outsourced, contract, daily wages, work-charged, fixed salary, part-time and ad-hoc employees in government departments will not affect the services of employees already working under such service conditions. Chief Secretary Anand Vardhan has clarified that this ban is meant only for future recruitments.
No effect on the services of working employees
Chief Secretary Anand Vardhan has said that the latest government order related to the ban on the recruitment of outsourced, contract, daily wages, work-charged, fixed salary, part-time and ad-hoc employees in government departments will not affect the services of employees already working under such a system.
Will be applicable on vacant posts in future
He said that it has been clarified in the said government order that in future only regular recruitments will be done on vacant posts. The Chief Secretary said that no government order is applicable with retrospective effect, hence the effect of this government order will be on the future appointments, the employees already employed will not be affected by it. All the departments will ensure compliance of the government order in this regard.
