Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has declared the flood affected areas of Laksar and Khanpur as disaster prone areas and has announced to waive the electricity bills of the affected people for three months.
The Chief Minister also announced to postpone loan installments of co-operative banks till the month of June. Said that the same will be requested from nationalized banks. Said that a detailed drainage plan will also be prepared for waterlogging and flood affected urban and rural areas.
In response to a question from journalists, the Chief Minister said that the hill will be treated to stop the debris coming from the Mansa Devi mountain. Earlier, at Damkothi, he reviewed with the officials the damage done in the flood-affected areas and the relief work, etc.
The CM said that compensation will also be given after assessing the loss of flood affected areas.
