Will be shifted to Mumbai today for treatment:
Rishabh Pant will be taken to Mumbai for treatment of ligament injury. DDCA Director Shyam Sharma has said that cricketer Rishabh Pant will be shifted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai today for further treatment. It is being told that the BCCI has given consent for this.
His knee and ankle injuries will also be treated here. Rishabh Pant is expected to be under the supervision of BCCI sports orthopedic doctors in Mumbai. If surgery has to be done, it will be done in UK or US, which will be decided by the BCCI.
Rishabh Pant’s car met with an accident near Narsan:
Cricketer Rishabh Pant’s car met with an accident on Friday morning near Narsan, located on the border of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. In the horrific car accident, many parts of Rishabh’s body were injured.
There are two cuts on his forehead. There the ligament of the right knee has been torn. There are wounds due to rubbing on the right wrist, ankle, toe and back of the body.
He is being treated by a team of orthopedic, spine, neuro, plastic surgeons and other specialist doctors from Max Hospital, Doon. The MRI report of his spine and brain came back normal. But MRI of ankle and knee could not be done even after five days.
As per hospital sources, Rishabh is recovering. The focus is currently on pain management for pain relief. It was told that in the current situation, they will not be shifted elsewhere. Relatives are also not in favor of this.
Here, Khanpur MLA Umesh Sharma, who reached the hospital to meet Rishabh, said that according to the information so far, BCCI can send him to Mumbai for the treatment of ligament.
Reduced crowd of visitors:
The crowd of people meeting Rishabh admitted in Max Hospital has reduced a bit. A day before, the doctors of the hospital had also appealed that Rishabh be allowed to rest, so that his recovery can be done soon. It is important that Rishabh gets enough time to rest. Not only physically, but mentally they also need rest.
