He told that the taxi stand will be shifted to Kincraig parking, under which only twenty to twenty five taxis will be parked at the Library and Masonic Lodge. Rest of the taxis will be parked at Kincraig parking and will come as per requirement. The Taxi Car Association has also given its consent on this and said that soon taxis will be parked at Kincraig. On the other hand, only those rickshaws which are plying will remain standing at the rickshaw stand on Malroad, efforts are being made to remove the rest of the rickshaws and park them elsewhere. He said that there are 121 rickshaws in Mussoorie, out of which only 30 to 40 rickshaws are plying these days, talks will be held with the rickshaw union in this regard. Said that widening is being done at Library Chowk, on which talks were held with the municipality and the water tank and railing in front of the library barrier will be removed so that the vehicles going to Dehradun do not face any problem, a ramp will be made here on which the tank will be broken. The work has been started. There a rotary was built at Gandhi Chowk due to which vehicles were facing difficulty in coming and going, it has been removed through MDDA. Such small works are being done. On the other hand, the Police Information Center has been built at Gandhi Chowk itself, it will also be removed and under it the tenants of the municipality will be sent elsewhere so that the road can be widened.
On this occasion, Municipal President Anuj Gupta said that efforts are being made to improve the system of Mussoorie with the help of the city administration, on which a meeting was held with the district administration.
