There are chances of snowfall in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand from today. However, the weather in the plains may remain dry and dense fog may add to the misery. Orange alert has been issued due to dense fog in Udham Singh Nagar and Haridwar. In Uttarakhand, Laksar, Roorkee, Pantnagar and Khatima are most affected by fog. According to Bikram Singh, Director of Meteorological Center, there may be snowfall in Uttarkashi, Chamoli and Pithoragarh in the state today in areas at a height of more than 3200 meters.
Dense fog will prevail for the next four days
At the same time, a warning was issued regarding dense fog in the plains for the next four days. Due to this, there is a possibility of drop in temperature also. Due to dense fog, visibility is expected to be six to four meters.
Trains are in bad condition
In Dehradun too, the effect of fog is being seen on trains and air services. Vande Bharat and Janshatabdi trains are reaching Dehradun on time. Shatabdi Express train is reaching Dehradun with a delay of one to one and a half hour. Apart from this, long distance trains are reaching Dehradun with delay of several hours.
Flight is also getting delayed
Flights coming to Dehradun are arriving one to two hours behind schedule. However, there is no impact on flights from Doon at present. People are facing problems due to dense fog.
