On the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the State Foundation Day program will be celebrated as “Devbhoomi Silver Festival”. The outline of various programs of Silver Festival was decided in the meeting held on Tuesday at the Chief Minister’s residence. It was decided that the inauguration of Uttarakhand Bhawan in Delhi on November 6, Uttarakhand Pravasi Sammelan in Dehradun on November 7, State Foundation Day on November 9 and programs related to Uttarakhand Silver Story will be organized in a grand manner in Devbhoomi Silver Festival till November 12.

In the meeting, Chief Minister Dhami directed the concerned officials that the people of Uttarakhand, migrants who love the soil here and youth, women, farmers, artisans, environmentalists, state agitators who want to be direct and indirect participants in the development of Uttarakhand, all should be made participants in Devbhoomi Silver Festival. He said that for the past years, Uttarakhand is progressing rapidly in every field. That is why from 6th to 12th November, on different days, different aspects of the society should be invited and motivational activities related to them should be conducted.

The Chief Minister said that we want active participation of everyone in the development story of Uttarakhand and the views of everyone have great importance for us. He said that during this time various cultural programs, sports, healthy competitive quiz and special conferences and camps will be organized for women, farmers, vendors, cleaners, youth, migrants, so that everyone can witness the development story of Uttarakhand moving on the path of progress.

On November 6, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will inaugurate Uttarakhand Bhawan in Delhi. Under Devbhoomi Silver Festival, the Chief Minister will start Uttarakhand Silver Story in Dehradun on November 9. This festival, which will last for a year, will be concluded in Kumaon Mandal in the year 2025. Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, Principal Secretary RK Sudhanshu, Secretaries Shailesh Bagauli, Dipendra Chaudhary and Vinod Kumar Suman, Garhwal Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey, Director General of Information Banshidhar Tiwari and other concerned officials were present in the meeting.
