To achieve the target of doubling the state’s GDP in the next five years, the state government has prepared drafts of 14 more new policies. The proposals of all these policies will be brought for the approval of the state cabinet in the next two months.
These 14 policies are related to those schemes of Agriculture, Infrastructure, Tourism, AYUSH and Finance Department, which the government is considering as game changers. Through these schemes, the Dhami government of the state wants to create lakhs of employment opportunities along with increasing the livelihood of the stakeholders. The government of Shakti Uttarakhand @ 25 aims to increase the state’s gross domestic product from Rs 346,206 crore to Rs 5,47,000 by 2027.
More than 30 policies have been prepared and implemented
There is a plan to increase it to Rs 7,68,000 by 2030. To achieve this ambitious goal, new policies are being prepared for many schemes. Old policies are being revised keeping in mind the current needs and future challenges. In this regard, the government has so far prepared and implemented more than 30 policies.
These policies are also ready: Drafts of Green Hydrogen Policy, Pradhan Policy, Geothermal Policy, Passenger Charter-Heli Service Policy, Yoga Policy, Dividend Policy, Monitoring Policy of Public Sector Undertakings are also ready, which are awaiting cabinet approval.
