As per the instructions of Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, the distribution of assistance amount at the rate of five lakh rupees each has been started to the disaster affected families of Dharali village. District Magistrate Prashant Arya and regional MLA Suresh Chauhan went to Dharali village on Monday and distributed checks of assistance amount to the disaster affected. Checks of assistance amount for 98 disaster affected people in Dharali were sent for distribution on the spot. The process of distribution of checks is still going on. District Magistrate Prashant Arya, Gangotri MLA Suresh Chauhan, Garhwal Coordinator Kishore Bhatt had food with the affected people today in the relief camps set up by the administration and said that the government and administration are with the victims in this hour of grief. Every possible step is being taken to help the disaster victims. All efforts are being made to bring normal life back on track in the affected area. Adequate arrangements have been made for food, accommodation and medical assistance of the affected in the relief camps.
