Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that whatever is legal will be done in Banbhulpura episode of Haldwani. Action will be taken on the directions of the Supreme Court in this matter. He has asked the Government and the Railways to take steps on this issue with mutual coordination.
In relation to the encroachment on land in Banbhulpura of Haldwani, a meeting was held in the government under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday. During this, he asked the officers to comply with the directions of the Supreme Court. Along with mutual coordination, instructions were given to place the facts related to it before the court.
In an informal conversation with the media, the Chief Minister said that whatever encroachment is there in the state, it will be removed. The campaign for this is going on. This campaign will continue till the entire encroachment is removed. He said that he expected that the people who have encroached on the government land should remove it themselves. Many people have also asked him to remove the encroachment.
On the question asked regarding the Chardham Yatra, the Chief Minister said that the Yatra is going on smoothly in three Chardhams of the state i.e. Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamunotri. Registrations are stopped in Kedarnath to save the pilgrims from inconvenience and trouble due to frequent bad weather and obstruction of the route by the glacier. The yatra runs smoothly when the weather is normal. Arrangements will be made for all the passengers to see Baba.
In response to another question, he said that the Prime Minister had appealed to all the countrymen to spend five percent of their expenditure on local products during their religious pilgrimage. Its effect has been seen. After the appeal, passengers are buying the products of local women self-help groups and other self-help groups. Due to this, local people are being encouraged in the direction of providing self-employment and employment is also increasing in the state.
