Uttarkashi. Meri Mati Mera Desh Abhiyan will be grandly organized in the border district of Uttarkashi. Meri Mati Mera Desh campaign will run in the district from August 9 to August 15 under the Independence Day Amrit Mahotsav. Under this campaign, stone plaques will be installed at each gram panchayat of the district, setting up Panch Pran Pratigya Amrit Vatika, salutation to the heroes, hoisting the tricolor in every house. Programs are to be organized.
Meri Mati Mera Desh Abhiyan will be grandly organized in the border district of Uttarkashi. ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ campaign will run in the district from August 9 to August 15 under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence.
To make this campaign successful, District Magistrate Abhishek Ruhela and Chief Development Officer Gaurav Kumar have taken the lead. Under this campaign, programs like installation of Shila Falak, Panch Pran Pratigya, establishment of Amrit Vatika, worship of heroes, hoisting tricolor in every house are to be organized at every gram panchayat of the district. Apart from this, under Mitti Yatra, soil will be taken from every panchayat and taken to Amrit Vatika in Delhi on duty.
Meetings have already taken place regarding the program
Meetings have already been held in the district headquarters regarding this program, in which the officers have been entrusted with the responsibility. Talking to Dainik Jagran, District Magistrate Abhishek Ruhela said that this is a better opportunity to show dedication towards the country and respect for the sacrifices, in which all people should participate enthusiastically. In this, it will be run as a public campaign by taking full cooperation of public representatives.
Chief Development Officer has been made the nodal officer
All the departments will coordinate and ensure prompt execution of the responsibilities related to the campaign. Chief Development Officer Gaurav Kumar has been made the nodal officer at the district level for conducting the campaign. Along with this, a committee of officers has also been formed.
Similarly, at the block level also, a committee has been formed in conjunction with sub-collectors and block development officers. Its preparations have been started immediately till the gram panchayat level and programs are to be organized with grandeur in the municipal bodies as well.
Uttarkashi played a remarkable role in this campaign
District Magistrate Abhishek Ruhela said that the frontier Uttarkashi district should play a remarkable role in this campaign. For this, all public representatives and officers have been expected. The activities of the campaign are also to be uploaded on the micro website of the panchayat. For which the central government has created a micro website of every panchayat.
