
The scope of heli services in Uttarakhand is constantly increasing. In this series, the state government is preparing to operate five new heli services under the Udan scheme soon. In this series, heli service will be started from Dehradun to Bageshwar, Nainital, Srinagar and Pauri and from Haldwani to Bageshwar. These heli services will operate from start to destination and from destination to start point, both ways. The company has been selected for this. Its fare will be determined soon. 10 heli and air services are being operated in Uttarakhand
At present, 10 heli and air services are being operated in the state. These include seven heli and air services under the Regional Connectivity Scheme and three heli and air services under the Uttarakhand Air Connectivity Scheme. Under the Uttarakhand Air Connectivity Scheme, air service is being operated between Delhi and Pithoragarh, while heli service is being operated from Sahasradhara to Gauchar and Sahasradhara to Joshiyara in Dehradun. On the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Civil Aviation Department has decided to connect other districts with heli and air services as well. In this episode, steps are now being taken to connect four cities of Kumaon division with the capital Dehradun and one city with Haldwani. These heli services will be operated from Dehradun to Bageshwar, Haldwani to Bageshwar, Dehradun to Nainital, Dehradun to Srinagar and Dehradun to Pauri. Heli service was also operated from Dehradun to Srinagar earlier under the Regional Connectivity Scheme, but after the end of the scheme, this service is also closed. Now in view of the convenience of the passengers, the state government is operating this heli service at its own level. Dayanand Saraswati, Additional Chief Executive Officer of Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority, said that preparations are on to start these heli services this month.
