The tableau of adventure sports of Uttarakhand will be a part of the Republic Day parade this year. The selection of this tableau has also been approved at the level of the Central Government. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that this will give recognition to the adventure sports of the state. Every year the state government sends its tableau to the central government to participate in the parade on the duty path under the Republic Day celebrations. After this it is decided from there whether this tableau will be a part of the program or not.

The front of this tableau shows a woman in Uttarakhandi attire making the famous Aipan art. Adventure sports like rock climbing, paragliding, bungee jumping, hill cycling, trekking, river rafting, skiing in Auli, zip lining in Rishikesh and rock climbing have been shown in the middle and rear part of the tableau. On behalf of the state, Joint Director Information KS Chauhan presented the design, model and music of the tableau. The expert committee has selected this tableau. This year, tableaux of 15 states including Uttarakhand have been selected for the parade.
Last year, Uttarakhand’s tableau got first place
Last year, Uttarakhand’s tableau Manaskhand got first place. Earlier, Phooldei in the year 2003, Nanda Rajjat in 2005, Valley of Flowers in the year 2006, Corbett National Park in the year 2007, Adventure Tourism in the year 2009, Kumbh Mela Haridwar in the year 2010, Herbs in the year 2014, Kedarnath in the year 2015, Ramman in the year 2016, Rural Tourism in the year 2018, Anashakti Ashram in the year 2019, Kedarkhand in the year 2021, ‘Progress towards a step forward’ tableau was presented in the year 2022.
