According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is likely to remain dry in most areas for the next few days. Due to which the mercury may rise by one to two degrees Celsius. At the same time, there may be partial clouds in some places in the mountainous regions.

Due to bright sunshine throughout the day in most areas of the state, a slight increase in temperature was recorded. On the other hand, partial clouds started hovering in some places in the mountainous regions after noon. There were showers in some areas of Chamoli in the afternoon. Due to which the temperature in the surrounding areas also decreased by one to two degrees Celsius.
Snowfall in the peaks, heavy rain in the lower places
On Friday morning, the weather was clear and the sun was shining. In the afternoon, there was snowfall in the peaks of Shri Badrinath Dham, Shri Hemkund Sahib and rain and hailstorm in the lower places. However, the mood of the weather has changed once again in the evening.
