Strict action will be taken against the persons concerned in cases of adulteration and spitting in food items and deficiency in quality in the state. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami gave instructions to the officials in a meeting held at the Secretariat on Friday in view of Diwali and State Foundation Day. Also asked to ensure better arrangements for cleanliness, safety, health and traffic across the state. Chief Minister Dhami said that special attention should be paid to traffic management on the festival of Diwali, so that the public does not face any kind of problem in commuting.
Instructions to keep the burn unit running 24 hours
He also directed to make adequate arrangements of fire vehicles to prevent fire incidents on Diwali, to keep the health department running all emergency arrangements as well as the burn unit 24 hours a day and to regularly sample food items to prevent adulteration in food items in view of the Tyahori season.
Instructions to all District Magistrates
Regarding the preparations for the State Foundation Day, the Chief Minister instructed all the District Magistrates to run a special campaign for cleanliness in urban and rural areas. Public cooperation should also be taken in this. Emphasizing on speeding up the work towards cleanliness as well as beautification in rural and urban areas, he said that this program should be made a public program.
Various programs across the state from 6th to 12th November
In the celebration of State Foundation Day, the outline of various programs has been decided across the state from 6th to 12th November. He also directed to make foolproof security arrangements on the interstate and international borders of the state in view of Diwali and State Foundation Day. He said that we are entering the silver jubilee year of the state. Everyone has to work with team spirit to bring the state in the category of leading states of the country. Cabinet Minister Premchand Agarwal, Infrastructure Monitoring Council Vice Chairman Vishwas Dabur, Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Principal Secretary RK Sudhanshu, Secretary Shailesh Bagauli, Nitesh Jha, Chandresh Kumar Yadav, ADG AP Anshuman, Garhwal Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey were present in the meeting, while DMs and SSPs of all districts joined virtually.
