With the target of investment of Rs 2.5 lakh crore, the Uttarakhand government is going to organize the Global Investors Summit in the state on December 8 and 9. While decorating the showcase of possibilities in the Curtain Raiser program organized here in New Delhi, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the state government has made many new policies for the convenience of entrepreneurs. There is not only ease of doing business, but also peace of doing business. In the program organized in New Delhi, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami talked about the government’s action plan and outline regarding ‘Destination Uttarakhand – Global Investors Summit-2023’ going to be held in December. He said that Uttarakhand is fast emerging as a young state, where there is immense potential for industries.

He said that the government has made about thirty new policies by amending many old policies. Among these, tourism policy, MSME policy, startup policy, logistics policy and policy for establishment of private industrial estates are prominent. Also claimed that the incidents of labor dissatisfaction in the industries operating in the state are negligible. This is the reason why the tagline of the Global Investors Summit has been made Peace to Prosperity. Encouraged by the MoU signed with Mahindra Holiday and Resort India Limited, Chief Minister Dhami said that since the day the idea of the summit was conceived, good encouragement is being received. The government is also continuously working on the suggestions given by industry groups. International road shows will be held in London, Singapore and Taiwan
To garner investment by attracting investors from all over the world, the Uttarakhand government will hold road shows in the country and abroad. There will be an international road show in London from 25th to 28th September, in which Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will also participate. Apart from this, there will be road shows in Singapore and Taiwan in the first week of October and in Dubai and Abu Dhabi from 16 to 20 October. Similarly, the first road show in India will be held in Delhi on 3rd October. After that, efforts will be made to attract investors by holding road shows in Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad.
