The DGP has also given instructions to the police captains to hold meetings with peace committees from time to time.
Raipur Police appeals to create peace system:
Raipur police station organized a meeting with the peace committee members of Bhagat Singh Colony, MDDA Colony, Jain Plot, Vani Vihar and Adhoiwala, areas with mixed population falling in the area. During this, a discussion was held with the people present and the members of the Peace Committee regarding the security during the coming goodbye Friday prayers and the festival of Eid.

Police Station President Kundan Ram told that at present, some mischievous elements should not pay attention to the provocative posts and rumors being propagated through the internet media regarding some incidents that have happened in different states and they themselves should not post any kind of posts in such cases.
