Uttarakhand is going to become the first state to implement the new National Education Policy. Under the new education policy, Balvatika will start in five thousand schools by July 10. It will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister.
MPs, MLAs and other public representatives will launch it at district and block level. Apart from this, Vidya Samiksha Kendras will be ready in the state in a year. For this, Rs 5 crore has been approved by the Central Government. At the same time, 23 thousand educational institutions will be made drug-free. Earlier, the Chief Minister released the book ‘Nipun Bharat’ and ‘General Knowledge Ek Pahal’ along with the Balvatika book and the guide of the Education Department. MLA Sahdev Singh Pundir, former Rajya Sabha MP Shri RK Sinha, Secretary Education Ravinath Raman, Director General Education Banshidhar Tiwari, Director Education RK Kunwar, Director Seema Jaunsari etc. were present in the program.
