Uttarakhand will become the first state in the country to implement Uniform Civil Code. Before the assembly elections, we had promised the people of Uttarakhand that we would implement it. As soon as the government was formed, we formed a committee for this. The committee took suggestions from lakhs of people and met more than 20 thousand people directly. The committee has handed over the documents to the government. There is no need to worry about the Uniform Civil Code. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said this in Indore, Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday. He was speaking in a program organized by Uttarakhand Cultural Society. He said that I have come here not as a leader but as the chief servant of Devbhoomi. I am happy to see that the people of Devbhoomi have not given up their traditions. Wherever you go in London or Dubai, people of Devbhoomi are seen in traditional costumes.
He said that the Global Investors Conference is going to be held in Uttarakhand on December 8 and 9. Investors are coming from all over the world. Asked the people of Uttarakhand living in Indore to work as brand ambassadors of Devbhoomi in Indore.
Land Jihad and Love Jihad will not be allowed to flourish
Dhami said that there was encroachment on government land in Uttarakhand. We took strict action regarding this and freed more than three and a half thousand acres of land from encroachment. Be it land jihad or love jihad, we will not allow both to flourish on the land of Uttarakhand. Strict provisions have been made to stop love jihad. A law has been made to stop religious conversion. We will not allow the original form of Devbhoomi to deteriorate.
While narrating the memories of his trip to Dubai, Dhami said that the temperature inside the high-rise buildings there is 15-20 degrees, but when you go outside, the temperature is above 40 degrees Celsius. This is man-made, but this does not happen in our Uttarakhand. If the temperature inside is 15 degrees, then it is almost the same outside. That too without air conditioner. Our Uttarakhand is God created.

Chief Minister Dhami said that he has a long association with Madhya Pradesh. He has studied till 10th class in Sagar. Now Madhya Pradesh has changed a lot. At one time it was a Bimaru state. Potholes used to be considered as highways, but now it is not so. After the formation of BJP government in 2003, there has been rapid development here.
