The weather is going to change in Uttarakhand from Sunday. Meteorologists have predicted snowfall along with light rain in high altitude areas on December 8 and 9. Due to this, the chill may increase due to falling temperature from the mountains to the plains in the state. Meteorologist Rohit Thapliyal said, due to the western disturbance affecting Uttarakhand on December 8 and 9, there is a possibility of light to moderate snowfall in areas above 2500 meters altitude. He said, the process of deteriorating weather will start on December 8 after noon. Light rain may occur in most parts of the state along with strong thunder and wind. After December 10, the weather will again become dry across the state, but due to the western disturbance, a drop of three to five degrees will be recorded in the maximum temperature. Due to this, the chill may increase from the mountains to the plains.
