15 December deadline for 100% ration distribution through biometric system
The Food Minister said that the biometric system is being continuously made hi-tech so that this system is effective even in remote mountain districts. Officials have been given time till 15 December for 100% online ration distribution system. He said that ration vendors have been given dividend till June.
Central government informed about the amount
The Central Government has been informed about the amount of remaining dividend and rent payment. Officials have been directed for the remaining part of the amount to be paid for the ration provided in Anganwadi centers. Many officials including Principal Secretary L Fanai and Commissioner Harichandra Semwal were present in the meeting.
