Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami campaigned vigorously in more than 10 states of the country in support of BJP candidates in the Lok Sabha elections. During this 22-day campaign, Dhami did more than 60 election programs. In these, he sought votes in support of BJP through election public meetings, road shows and public dialogue. Party sources believe that Dhami is also in the highest demand along with Yogi among the Chief Ministers of BJP ruled states. The Chief Minister started his election campaign from Pilibhit Lok Sabha seat from April 14 and after that the campaign continued continuously. In April, he did a total of 10 election programs in Pilibhit, Ghaziabad, Lucknow, Bareilly in UP, Nizamabad, Warangal in Telangana and Hooghly in West Bengal. In the month of May, he campaigned in support of BJP candidates in various Lok Sabha constituencies of UP, Jharkhand, Delhi, Telangana, Maharashtra, Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana and Himachal and appealed to vote in their favour. The CM started his election campaign from the neighbouring state of Uttar Pradesh and concluded his election campaign through public relations in the Shimla parliamentary seat of neighbouring state Himachal.
That’s why there was a demand for the Chief Minister
In the campaign for Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, there has been a tradition of making Chief Ministers of small states like Uttarakhand as star campaigners in neighbouring states. Pushkar Singh Dhami is probably the only Chief Minister who was sent to campaign in favour of BJP candidates in West Bengal, Telangana, Maharashtra, Punjab, Haryana apart from UP, Himachal and Delhi. A major reason for this is the decisions taken in the Dhami government, which are being discussed all over the country. The most prominent among these is the Uniform Civil Code law, which Uttarakhand is the first state in the country to make. In the manifesto, the BJP has promised to implement the UCC in the country. Dhami campaigned in favour of the BJP in all the states on the pretext of the UCC law. Also, count the benefits of the double engine government in Uttarakhand. There has also been discussion about Uttarakhand’s strictest anti-copying law in the country and the law to prevent forced conversion. Dhami tried to connect people with BJP through both the laws.
Heartfelt gratitude for the immense affection, love and immense support received from the god-like people while discharging the responsibility given by the organization as a worker during the election campaign in ten states. The successful organization of each public meeting, road show and dialogue programs reflects the tireless hard work of all you workers, office bearers and candidates. It is clear from the immense enthusiasm seen among the people during this time that the faith of the people in Prime Minister Narendra Modi is still unwavering and the public has decided to make Modi ji the Prime Minister for the third time. – Pushkar Singh Dhami, Chief Minister
