Inaugurating it, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that in the first phase 100 schools of the state have been provided with TV equipment for Smartshala. About 17 thousand students will be benefited by this. After this, the classes of all government schools of the state will be connected to Smart Science TV.
Foundation stone of Kasturba Gandhi Residential Hostel Korba laid
The Chief Minister also inaugurated the newly constructed building of Government Girls Inter College (GGIC) Kaulagarh and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose residential hostel Jharipani. Also laid the foundation stone of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Residential Hostel Kaulagarh and Kasturba Gandhi Residential Hostel Korba.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister interacted with the girl students along with observing the smart classes going on in the school. Also announced to name the school after former MLA Harbans Kapoor.
The state government is constantly striving for qualitative improvement in the field of education.
The Chief Minister said that the State Government is constantly making efforts for qualitative improvement in the field of education in the State. Wherever there is a need, residential hostels will be built for the children of poor and deprived sections to get full opportunities for education.
Important for the education of daughters in remote rural areas
The Chief Minister said that the Smartshala Science TV Classes scheme would prove important for the education of girls in remote rural areas of the state.
