Dengue knocks in Dehradun; Instructions for calling school children in full dress

Dengue has knocked. Dengue has been confirmed in six people in the district. Among them, a 45-year-old woman resident of Ajabpur Kalan is admitted in the District Hospital (Coronation Hospital). At the same time, dengue has also been confirmed in a 52-year-old woman from Single Mandi, a 20-year-old youth from Rest Camp, a 30-year-old woman from Kusum Vihar and a 40-year-old man from Pathribagh.
Apart from this, the ELISA test report of a 32-year-old woman resident of Vikas Nagar has also come positive. All of them are taking health benefits at home. The health department has also started sharpening its preparations after six cases of dengue came together. District Vector Borne Disease Control Officer Subhash Joshi said that the condition of the patients is normal. Preventive action is being taken in the areas where patients have been found. Municipal Corporation is doing fogging there. Apart from this, spraying of medicine has also been done.

Instructions for calling school children in full dress:
District Magistrate Sonika has instructed the officers that in all the areas where dengue patients have been found, first a comprehensive campaign to destroy dengue survey and larvae should be conducted in them and the surrounding areas. Along with this, awareness program should also be run. He has also given instructions to the officers to submit reports daily. Instructed Chief Education Officer Pradeep Kumar to ensure that children are called in full dress in schools.
In the meeting held on Monday, the District Magistrate instructed the Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sanjay Jain to make adequate arrangements and daily reporting in the hospitals for the treatment of dengue patients.
While giving training to Asha and Anganwadi workers, he also gave instructions for door-to-door survey in rural and urban areas. Said that along with destroying the larvae of dengue/malaria, the public should also be made aware. He said that a meeting of the Health Department regarding effective control and prevention of Dengue/Chikungunya should be held on July 4 and training should be given to Asha Facilitators and Anganwadi workers working in Municipal Corporation area on July 5. Children should be made aware of dengue and chikungunya in school.
