Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami transferred an amount of Rs 125 crore directly into the accounts of 8,36,603 beneficiaries under the one click system. He said that pension will now be paid every month instead of three months. Chief Minister Dhami on Friday transferred the old age, widow and disabled pension under the Social Welfare Department at the Chief Minister’s residence through DBT.
This much pension amount will be received in 2024
Through one click, an amount of Rs 79.97 crore was given to 333180 beneficiaries of old age pension and Rs 31.80 crore was given to 2,12,030 beneficiaries of widow pension as pension for the month of February, 2024. An amount of Rs 13.70 crore was sent to 91,393 beneficiaries of disability pension.
Now you will get Rs 1500
The Chief Minister said that the state government has done the work of simplifying the pension schemes. Also, the amount given earlier has been increased from Rs 1200 to Rs 1500. More people are getting benefited by giving pension to elderly couples.
Now you will get pension every month
Chief Minister Dhami said that earlier pension was paid at an interval of three months. Now every month the pension will come directly into the accounts of the beneficiaries. The real objective of this scheme will be accomplished. He said that the state government is continuously working to provide pension to the disabled people as well as to connect them with the mainstream, provide employment and their progress. Various public welfare schemes are being run under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Now pension scheme applications are online
CM Dhami said that arrangements have been made to make all the applications for the pension scheme online from April 2023 itself. This has brought transparency in pension approval. Applicants are getting the opportunity to know the status of their applications. The government is ready to provide benefits to all eligible beneficiaries on time. From time to time, efforts are being made to strengthen the pension distribution system. His every moment is dedicated to the development of the state and its people.
