The weather has become dry from the mountains to the plains in Uttarakhand. Most areas had bright sunshine throughout the day. Due to which an increase in mercury was also recorded. However, there is relief from the scorching heat due to rain and snowfall in the past few days.
Mercury close to 35 degrees Celsius
On Friday, the sun was shining since morning in Dehradun and surrounding areas. Due to which the heat increased in the afternoon and the mercury was also recorded close to 35 degrees Celsius. Along with this, the weather remained clear throughout the day in the mountainous areas as well. Partial clouds hovered at some places in the high altitude areas. Sunshine also remained in Chardham and surrounding areas. The temperature remained around normal in most areas. The minimum temperature is being recorded below normal.
