Considering Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s special attachment to Uttarakhand and his popularity in the state, the state BJP wants as many of his programs as possible in the Lok Sabha elections. In view of all this, the state BJP is busy exercising these days. According to sources, a round of meeting has been held regarding star campaigners. In this, the need for two to three meetings of the Prime Minister in the state was stated. Also, three from Union Home Minister Amit Shah, four from Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, five from Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, four from BJP National President JP Nadda, three each from Union Minister Smriti Irani and MP and cine actress Hema Malini. Emphasis was also laid on holding meetings at regular intervals.
Sources said that on behalf of the state BJP, a request letter will soon be sent to the central leadership of the party regarding giving programs of these leaders to the state. Apart from this, the party is also brainstorming the list of star campaigners at the state level. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and all members of his cabinet, former Chief Ministers and senior party leaders will be included in this. The sequence of meetings will be started after Holi.
There will be more emphasis on small meetings
This time BJP has also decided to organize small meetings for the Lok Sabha elections. In these, the outline of the programs of central and state level leaders is also being decided. According to BJP State General Secretary Aditya Kothari, the central leadership of the party is being requested regarding the programs of the Prime Minister and other central leaders in the state. The situation will be clear in this regard only after getting the green signal from there.
