After the results of the three-tier Panchayat, now the ruling BJP has put its strength to gather majority in all the districts. On the other hand, after Rudraprayag, on Monday, 20 district panchayat members of Uttarkashi met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. After independents in the district panchayat elections, the ruling BJP has been ahead. Here, while the process of reservation for the posts of District Panchayat President is moving forward, on the other hand, the BJP has intensified the exercise to dominate in all 12 districts. Not only are the party-supported winning candidates being united, but efforts are also being made to get independents in their favor. Many BJP leaders are reaching the Chief Minister’s court with the elected district panchayat members. On Monday also, apart from the representatives of Uttarkashi, many other leaders reached the CM residence to meet Chief Minister Dhami. The exercise to gather support by making a special strategy in many districts including Dehradun has intensified. Work is also being done at the level of ministers.
