Mandi Parishad’s Managing Director Ashish Bhatgaini met State Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi on Friday. On this occasion, Minister Ganesh Joshi also got information about the works being done by Mandi till now. Minister Joshi discussed in detail various topics like the possibilities of making mandis hi-tech and gave necessary guidelines.
Minister Joshi said that all the mandis should be developed in hi-tech form under one roof so that the farmers do not have to wander anywhere. Along with this, Minister Ganesh Joshi also instructed the mandi officials to work in an organized manner in the mandi according to the convenience of the farmers. Apart from this, Minister Ganesh Joshi also directed to bring professionalism in the management of wholesale markets and focus on encouraging investments in agricultural marketing. Minister Joshi said that according to the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has implemented many public welfare schemes for the farmers. He directed that continuous efforts should be made to ensure that the farmer gets the right price for his produce.
