Now Pithoragarh-Dehradun air service will operate six days a week in the state. Till now this heli service was operating three days a week. Now, with operation six days a week, local residents will get more convenience in commuting. Air services are expanding rapidly in the state. At present, all the major cities of the state have been connected by air service. Recently the state government has also started air services for Ayodhya, Lucknow and Amritsar.
The scope of air services is being expanded within the state
The scope of both heli and air services is being expanded within the state also. Some time ago, air service from Dehradun to Pithoragarh was restarted. It was inaugurated by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. Earlier also this air service was proposed to operate six days a week. However, due to technical reasons it is being operated three days a week.
Problem resolved, now operation will be for six days
Now the company operating the air service has informed that the technical problem in operating the air service has been resolved and it can now be operated six days a week. This service, which is being started before the start of the tourism season in the state, will definitely prove beneficial for the local residents as well as the tourists. It has not yet been decided on which day this service will not operate. Its timetable is expected to be released soon.
