President Draupadi Murmu will reach Dehradun on Tuesday afternoon on a two-day visit to Uttarakhand. He will be welcomed by Governor Lieutenant General (Retd) Gurmeet Singh and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at Jolly Grant Airport. After reaching Jolly Grant airport by special flight from Delhi, the President will go directly to Rishikesh by road. From there, she will attend the convocation ceremony of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) as the chief guest at 4.30 pm. After this, she will participate in Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan in Swargashram late in the evening and from there will come by helicopter to GTC Helipad in Dehradun.
She will go straight to Raj Bhavan from the helipad and will stay there for the night. On Wednesday morning, the President will attend the graduation ceremony of Central Forest Officers at Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy by road from Raj Bhavan. After this she will return to Delhi from Jolly Grant Airport. Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has instructed the district and police administrations of Dehradun, Tehri, Pauri and Haridwar to keep security arrangements tight.
