Now Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that if any disaster affected person has not received the compensation amount in Haridwar district, it will be paid soon.
The Chief Minister gave this assurance to the delegation led by Sanjeev Tomar, president of Bharatiya Kisan Union (Tomar), who came to meet him on Friday. On this occasion, the Chief Minister was informed on behalf of the union that some disaster affected people in the district have not yet received the compensation amount. Along with this, after assessing the damage caused to the crops due to excessive rains, urged to give compensation to the farmers.
Assistance will be given to the people soon
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the damage caused to the crops is being assessed. A letter has also been sent to the Central Government. The central team has made a preliminary assessment of the damage. He said that many schemes are being run by the central and state government for the welfare of the farmers. While the work on Millet Mission is going on fast in the state, organic farming is also being promoted.
